A 2D Open World Adventure
Poppitgen is a project being developed by Entesi. It is going to be a video game with lots of features, such as a wide range of character customisation options, multiple open worlds to explore, quests, romance options and more!The game is inspired by many; Don't Starve, the Steven Universe game series, Undertale, Deltarune and Stardew Valley! It is a fully 2D animated game that will allow you to go on adventures in many different worlds, allowing you to do quests for different creatures, befriend or fight NPCs, and craft objects that assist you in many ways. Players will be able to customise their character with lots of different options like body shape and colour, pronouns, clothing and species where applicable. Details such as body, limbs, eyes, hair, accessories etc are some of the options that can be changed, and pronouns are able to be picked from presets and will also give the option to add custom pronouns | There will be many worlds to explore, each of them in a 2D open world environment. Each world has unique NPCs, enemies, items and landscapes that will be useful to the player to progress and find places to get items and befriend or fight others | The player can pick from up to three powers or ‘elements’ that change the way the game functions in battles and quests. There is not conflict with other elements and characters can have powers that would commonly conflict in other games, such as water and fire. Elements are also not limited to traditional elements; powers can be given based off of skill or emotions such as technology or happiness. Some abilities and elements may be able to be swapped out for others, but will only be able to have three active at a time | There will be many materials and objects in each world to collect and a lot will be useful for crafting. Weapons, tools, armour, clothing, crops, health items and more will have ingredients to use to make them and can be crafted |

The game will feature lots of NPCs, including a lot that can be battled and/or befriended. Some creatures can be pacified in battle or doing quests for them, others have to be defeated and cannot be befriended | Each world has a faction; a level of trust between the player and the NPCs of each world. To increase a faction’s trust, quests can be done, and to decrease the trust, players can enter battles with certain NPCs or not follow through with quests too often | There will be some NPCs that have the features for the player to become their friend. Players can build up their friendship with them by assisting them in quests and giving them gifts, and some NPCs will follow you for a brief period of time to help with a quest or a battle with another NPC. Some NPCs with a high enough friendship level can be romanced regardless of gender identity, and polyamory is able to happen in the game | Depending on the actions of the player and how they interact with the NPCs and environment around them, there are different endings. Some endings are harder to get than others, especially for those players who prefer to pacify rather than fight. Some characters may remember you from a previous save, but will likely only do that with the player’s permission. This does not apply to Tutorial Van as they will always assist unless the player turns off their help at any point in the game |

This was a concept for a possible boss battle with Vandarian on a certain route, including some concept ideas for their elements of this form
